We won 29-0 against a less-than-stellar opponent. It was about what we expected. We had a lineman carry the ball for our last score and had all linemen carry on that drive. We substituted heavily from 16-0 on, but some of our other assistants still got upset about the running up the score issue. I understood where they were coming from earlier in the season, but I thought our header went pretty far above and beyond in keeping this game under control, so I'm not sure what they were complaining about this time.
Anyway, we have a pretty good challenge this week - we play a team that lost 8-0 to the team we beat 6-2 a few weeks ago - we should be pretty evenly matched. We have some guys out hurt, so I'm not really sure what to expect. We'll see.

Won on Saturday 24-0 to even our record at 3-3.
It's been quite the season, this is only the second time in my coaching career to have more than two losses. Been at it since 1989. High school, Jr. high, and 5th &6th grade.
I have been happy with the teams effort this season we have no speed, my fullback is... well,... he is a body behind the QB, my qb can not throw the ball farther than 10 yards quite awkward and frail, My half back has heavy, heavy feet my wing is tiny and slow.
But we chug on down the field on offense, we tackle well on defense, but we can not hold on the the doggone ball. And every time we fumble the defense seems to get a good bounce and they scoop and score. We have given up 5 defensive scores off turnovers this season.
I could be staring at my first losing season ever as a coach, it's not the kids fault, you should see the kids execute the offense and play their hearts out on defense, And we are getting better
We have a tough schedule to finish out the season we play tonight, Thursday, Saturday and the last game is next Tues. the 11th. With only one practice next Monday the 10th We have a makeup game dates to fill and it's brutal.
If we don't put the ball on the ground we can beat anyone but if we turn the ball over or get behind we are not explosive enough to overcome our mistakes. should be interesting.
