tech advice - we use wrist coaches and one of the kids plastic has had the print stuck on the plastic and we can't get it off. Usually we laminate the cards but didn't during camp and because of sweat or dew the printing went through.
If anyone else has dealt with it - how do you get the print off of the plastic - have tried dishwashing liquid, gunk, goop etc.

Try paint thinner, nail polish remover, acetone.

Coach, I've used wrist coaches for years. I've had them do just about anything possible, but sooner or later you have to throw them away. I'm not trying to sound rude coach.
They are on ebay alot, sometimes you can get a great deal.

if you can't laminate, use clear tape...or even a zip lock bag

You can get laminator for about $25 at Wal Mart.

The clear tape also works well; but I'm not sure how many wrist bands you hand out to the kids. You may not want to do that if you have 45 wrist bands to do.

When I couldn't laminate the playcards, I used clear contact paper. It's super cheap at Walmart. But laminating is SO much easier.
I made practice cards and game cards, mainly because I was constantly fiddling with them. Don't expect them to last all week and then be legible for the game. OJW

Sounds like a product opportunity. Thinking a kit with labels, maybe 6 to a sheet...and it comes with disposable plastic pockets

Razor blade and patience. I didn't use a razor blade, but stuck in a scissor blade and scraped it off the inside. Hillbilly deluxe.
