brophy: To my mind, the best value (apart from school visits) comes from the "specialist" clinics/conclaves/symposia: the Wing-T shindig in Erie, the Single Wing Conclaves in Wilkes-Barre and SoCal, and the Double Wing Symposium in Frisco, TX... ...something about hanging with everyone who drank the same batch of Kool-Aid...

I am going to the NCOY in Portland next month, so far none of my staff could go. That's a bummer.

going to Baton Rouge Nike Clinic this weekend. Big bummer is that Doug Marone had to cancel to coach the Pro Bowl. Highlights I plan to catch; Mike Leach, John Booty, Doug Pederson, Ronnie Edwards (Evangel DC), Gary Pinkel, JT Curtis (John Curtis veer).... they have Scott Maxfield ('scorched earth offense' / Mumme stuff) and some Georgia Military Academy stuff there, too. The Baton Rouge clinic is supposed to have a "Point-Counterpoint" breakouts between two coaches just like the AFM magazine does......we'll see.
