Our 5th graders play four 5-minute quarters with a 10-minute halftime. 6th grade plays four 6-minute quarters with a 10-minute halftime.
How about you guys?

WOW...seems WAY to short. Especially for a dbl wing guy like yourself...you could get the opening kick off and have one possession in the half.

We play four 10 minute quarters from Jr. Pee Wee (9-10 years old) up.
Regular clock rules unless score differential hits 28 pts, then goes to running clock.
2 minutes between quarters and 10 minute halftime.
7-8's play two 30 minute running time halves with a 10 minute halftime.

We play running time for the length of time that we have the field, less a 5 minute halftime. I think the last 2 or 3 minutes are stop time.

In all the leagues I've coached in, it's four 10-minute quarters with a 10-15 minute halftime and about 1-2 minutes between quarters from Mitey Mite on up. Flag typically plays two 20-minute halves with a running clock.

25 minute halves. 5 minute halftime. Running clock except for time outs, and scores. Last 2 minutes off each half time is kept like HS w/ incompletions stopping time.

Our Pee Wees (U12.5s/120 lbs.) play halves (not quarters) of 18 mins. running time, then 2 mins. Fed time. Our halftime break IIRC is 15 mins. It is pretty short and we could afford to extend it a little and still get the 2nd game in & done in the alloted 3 hrs., because we usually have about 15 mins. between games. They make a big deal of hustling the teams off the field & away from the sideline even though there's plenty of time.
By not changing ends with the quarters, the teams can share one sideline for their "bench area" without having to mix. This is for crowd control purposes, as the opposite sideline is where the stands are.
I don't remember how long the Mites (U10.5s/100 lbs.) get, but I think it might be the same. The Juniors (U14.5s/135 lbs.) get longer, use the same field but the next day. I have no idea how long the flag games are.
In the BAYFL in 2007 JPWs IIRC got 10' Qs, Fed time (or might've been 9'), running time with runaway scores.

Our league uses play counts per quarter through 6th grade. 20 plays a quarter through 4th then 24 plays a quarter for 5th/6th. Games generally last 1.5-2hours.

I think that's pretty generous (or grueling, depending how they look at it) for Mighty Mites. Are their rosters large? Unusual to see them playing the same length as higher levels.

We play four 8-minute quarters, typical football stoppage times. We also have 10 minute halves, but the time sometimes fluctuates depending on the game. We've had halftimes fluctuate depending on the game. Refs are kinda inconsistent. We have some who are really by the book and some who kinda let a lot of things slide, even when it comes to time.
Amazingly, they don't keep a total running clock until another team is up by 40. I feel like at that point, they should be more focused on calling the game rather than on a running clock.

The Mitey Mite rosters can be up to 35 kids.
