We are looking to possibly purchase a 'lev' sled------1-5 man.... I am looking for advice from other coaches as to size (1-5) & references in terms of good businesses to contact for pricing info.
Thank you in advance.

We have had ours going on 7 seasons -- one of the best investments we ever made...We used to use a Gilman 7 man sled for years...switched to the Lev Sled and have not used the Gilman more than probably 3 times in 7 years. The Lev Sled has worn like iron -- has never needed a repair since we got it...we went with the 5 man and have used it exclusively set up that way..... Our TD Club was instrumental in getting it for us -- not sure who the vendor was they used...

Is the Lev Sled OK on turf?

The Lev Sled is a Rogers Product. Our guy there is John Green, 989.240.2302. jgreen@rogersathletic.com - best in the business. www.rogersathletic.com

I always liked the mod sled, but I'm not much of a sled guy. Sleds don't fight back.

Main advantage of sleds is for beginners-young players getting used to the "shock" of contact while they learn to protect themselves.
Our Offensive Linemen block 7-man once a week as part of a TTO Drill. Other than that we block people.
I highly recommend Rogers products, BTW.
