Guys I am thinking about doing a one-day camp? What ideas or suggestions do you guys have in regards to doing this? Is it worth it to make a little money and get the kids in our facilities???

I am running my own week long 5 team camp this july... It has been pretty smooth so far, here is what I have handled
#1 - secure your facility #2 - Insurance, i used a company called gagliardi, $4 a kid for the whole week, ful contact football, pretty cheap #3 - T shirts #4 food donations #5 - parent volunteers to help you run it all #6 - oh yeah, you gotta find your teams/players who will attend!!
I am working on getting our equipment company to sponsor the camp so we get free t shirts... we give them a TON of business, and if they do this they will be able to network with the 4 other schools at our camp and have potential to make even more money... I think they will cough up the couple hundred shirts I need in exchange for potential business.
Food donations just gotta ask around, im doing this to increase our profit, but we are charging $40 per kid so we will have enough money to be able to purchase the food and anything else we might need.

Asking local PT's and Trainers if they could provide coverage would be good. If your school has student trainers, get them a polo or nicer version of the camp shirt so they feel loved. Go overboard on the water etc. Those little extras like popup tents for trainers and scaffolding to film from will make you look good. Could you provide volunteer filmers from your drama/TV production classes? Popsicles! Ask for suggestions from the guys that come and act on them. Most importantly, Get a guy to be the Camp Director so you can coach.
