I did a search and couldn't find anything so sorry if this has been posted recently...
Are there any quick, easy, no or low cost fundraisers that guys do over the summer. I just took over a program and we have -$37 in the football account. Our AD is going to help us where he can but obviously things are going to be much tighther than we would like...any help would be great.

Short term: Spirit Cards. Takes about a week. If your school has one of those high end id makers you can make big bucks quick. If not go with an outside company.
Long term: Golf tourney. Huge dollars and huge buzz for your program. Down side is it takes about four months at minimum. Really need six. But you can make at least 25-30k off a fairly small golf tourney.

Double post... Smooth.
If you live in a rural area cow patty bingo is also a big hit. Takes a few weeks to put together. Also can be worth tens of thousands of dollars.

I agree that both spirit cards and golf tournaments can be a huge money maker. I highly recommend doing the spirit cards on your own instead of going through a company. The program I worked with last year did this and was able to make a lot more money because having the cards printed were far cheaper than paying 50% of profit to another company. It does take a little bit of leg work however.
Golf tournaments can also be huge and you can honestly make some money off of a tiny one. The youth organization I work with held their very first golf scramble last weekend. The turn out was a lot smaller than we were hoping for but we still made solid money compared to what we put out. We only had 5 teams play and combined with hole sponsors we made right around $1000. So you can easily see how its easy to make huge money.
The other idea you might look into if you don't have a very actice booster club is selling apparel. We have hooked up with a guy in our area that sells the gear at cost and then we can mark it up a little bit to make a profit. Even if you are only able to do a mom's jersey and a dad's shirt you can easily make $5 per item.
A cash raffle is another way that the youth organization has been able to make some good money. Webuy a bunch of raffle tickets cheap online and give away $1000 in total prizes. If you sell tickets for $5 each it takes about 225 tickets sold to cover the cost and everything else is pure profit. We sold close to 2000 tickets last season.

The last couple years we have done a steak night fundraiser. Pretty much takes care of itself. Find a nice venue that will give you a good deal and meal(here they take $10 per ticket sold and we sell for $20). We use this night to kick off our spring camp weekend. Parents, players and coaches love it - we made $3000 the first year and $3500 this year. We sell team gear, have a 50/50 draw and silent auction of prizes that we have had donated to us.
Overall a good thing for us... usually hand out tickets 2-3 weeks before event to coaches and players.
Will be doing a Team Discount Card in the fall for the first time

Auction dinner. Boosters put on a dinner. Parents/ local businesses put together baskets and such for bidding. You do too- have players sign footballs, jerseys, whatever.

Our lift-a-thon was put together in about a week and raised good money. We averaged about $100 a kid. We did a raffle for an HD TV back when they first came out and were like $2000. We got it donated buy a local appliance store and sold tickets for $5, or 5 for $20. We brought in about $3k total.

We currently have three fundraisers going on. We made a deal with a local ATV place to purchase at cost a four-wheeler. No money will be exchanged until we have sold enough $20 raffle tickets to pay for it but they will let us pick it up and bring it to community festivals and games. The raffle ends senior night when a winner will be drawn at halftime. Two...we are selling sunglasses for $15/pair. They are school colors and have the logo on one side and school name on the other. Three...we are selling discount cards. I feel these three fundraisers have the potential to be very successful...time will tell.
