Do any of your teams have an online "team store" where the players or parents can purchase extra gear ie: under armour or shorts or jackets.
We are looking for a way to stop having to buy gear, get it embrodiered / logo'd, then hand out sheets get them in and then order. I would way rather have parents and players go right online and order from there ship to the school or their house.
We were looking at the Eastbay team site but they only ship to USA and we are in Canada.
Any ideas?

we use this company www.tandbsports.com/our equipment rep works for them, they have been absolutely awesome!!! have given us great deals and we have shifted all of our business to them for spirit packs, other clothing, coaches gear, football equipment, water stuff, literally you name it our equipment guy has it. He has given us great rates and even kicked us back some free stuff for all of our business here it is now illegal to make kids buy a spirit pack, so we now have an online store set up through them, they have open windows for purchase, kids place their orders, then they all get sent out at once to the school individually packaged for you to pass out. Keeps shipping and printing costs down since they do it as 1 big order. Best part is coaches can decide how much to charge for each item, they tell you their cost for each item, but you set the price in the store, so you can make a little bit of money off of it. Based in NorCal, but I would imagine they can do the online store deal anywhere

42falcon,
Talk to your rep(s) and have him set up your own page on their website. Kids will be sent a link or promotion code. They go to the site, choose what they want (if anything), pay online and have it sent to the school.
We're doing this for the spring. Basically, I told the rep I'm tired of collecting/hounding money from kids. He sent me all the gear so the kids can try on sizes, etc. before purchasing.

Coaches, Are you able to make any profit of these type of sales? How do you get your money from the websites?
This is a great advancement. As a small school coach, we were always given minimum order numbers on each size. We ended up with extras.

As a small school coach, we were always given minimum order numbers on each size. We ended up with extras. We're not looking to make a profit from our kids. This does, however, save us money in that we can use money that we now do not have to use to purchase as many girdles or rib guards, for instance, to apply towards other equipment.

YOu can use this to gear up coaches too... Add a little extra to each item and at the end you get 10 - 15% of the profit... Use that towards gear for the coaches...

I have a team store through GTM. gtmteamstore.com/I originally set it up for my coaches. They are always bugging me to get them some gear. Now they can get it for themselves whenever they want. I also have no intention of making money off of coaches or players. I can make as many stores as I like so I may set one up for parents to make a profit. This took me about a week to set up because you can put your own logo or custom designs on the gear you choose. I had a coach order the day I sent the link out. There were a couple of snags in the custom process, but the customer service people responded quickly and fixed any issue I had. We'll see how it goes.
