I'm planning on washing our wristbands every couple of weeks. my concern is that the kids like to keep their same wristband throughtout the season. How am i supposed to keep them separated so i know who's is who's? any ideas.

label them with a sharpie or paint pen. We had black wristbands with a white logo on one side, each week I would sharpie the kids initials on it. Throw it in the washer, it fades off some, and then I would just trace over it again

Or sharpie a number on each one, and correlate that to a certain kid. What does it matter, though? or is it more for the mentality that they are responsible for their one personal wristband, so they shouldn't abuse it?

If they are superstitious or just anal, let them wash their own. Most kids don't care even if you wash them.

some where on the card have the player position or jersey number. When I used wristbands I would hand wash them then shove a big wad of newspaper in them...they dried much quicker that way.

question, How do you DRY the wristbands? so that they don't crack or shrink? Do you put them in the dryer or just let them air dry

I label the wristbands with there position on it, we only do 2 deep for varsity then the JV's and Frosh have 11 and must share. I wash them and air dry, and only a few of the skill guys went through more then 1 wristband in the year.
