Wisconsin Hartland Arrowhead (Swear this program has 50+ seniors every year...probably a jealous exaggeration.) Marquette Mayville Monroe D.C. Everest Homestead Hartford Mukwanago Milwaukee TECH (At least prior to 2000) More recently Greendale Franklin Wisconsin Lutheran Probably a bunch I'm missing from out in the sticks. Stratford: Won something like 6 straight State titles Most Wins in the 2000's Menomonie: 3rd most wins in the 2000's Waunakee: 15 straight years making the playoffs, Conference Champions 12 of the last 13 years, Home winning streak of 13 years, Advanced to at least the Quarterfinals for something like 15 straight years, Advanced to at least the Semifinals from 1997-2003 6 state title appearances in 12 years with 4 titles, Top 3 All-time winning % in WI.

In Virginia where I'm at now (at least at the AAA level): Phoebus, Stonebridge, Westfield, Oscar Smith all come to mind right away - there are certainly some more guys on here that have a better basis than I do in terms of VA ball Can't leave out Hampton from AAA...Mike Smith has had those guys at the top for nearly 35 years From AA...I'd say schools like Amherst, Brookville, James Monroe, Salem, Heritage (Lynchburg) & Powhatan. From A... J.I Burton, Powell Valley, Gretna, Radford, Appalachia, William Campbell & Alta Vista...maybe Sussex Central

You're right. The ONLY reason I included the 4A, 2A and 1A schools was because they have been SO dominant for an extended period of time, plus they have sent several kids D1.

The guy has over 400 wins and 12 state championships. I've been in Virginia since 1977 and they've missed the playoffs once.

Massachusetts: Strange football state; strong programs seem to come and go, but now the Catholics are beginning to establish dominance, top ten: 1. Brockton- The most storied program in the state; over 700 wins, was at one point #1 in the country I believe in 1984, huge school (around 4,000 kids) still produces great athletes 2. Everett- Currently the most dominant program in the state; for a state w/o a lot of D1 kids this program has produced many. Tradition is strong back to the 1930’s. 3. Gloucester- Won 4 state titles in the last 6 or so years at their level; wing-T team with very tough, disciplined kids strong year in and year out. 4. Longmeadow- Western mass school (do not play east schools in Super Bowls). Won 47 straight games and 8 of the last 12 CMASS/WMASS titles at the D1 level. 5. Xaverian Brothers- Catholic power with over 150 kids in the program, Hassleback brothers played here and won multiple Super Bowls, have went to Connecticut and NJ and beaten some pretty good people there. More recent/others 6. St. Johns Prep (Danvers)- Great tradition, 200 kid program, a slew of titles and D1 kids in years past 7. St. Johns Prep (Shrewsbury)- Central MA program, have and will dominate that region for a long time and years to come, sending TE Richard Rogers to Cal, other D1 kids coming the next couple of years. 8. Auburn- Smaller (600 kid) school that has dominated its level of competition, 3 straight CMASS/WMASS titles and 37 straight wins (current)- strong last decade. 9. Mansfield- 1A school that has several titles the past tens years, great numbers and production, play in a brutal league and thrived 10. Natick- A D2 power under the retired Tom Lamb, famous alum Doug Flutie had the school nationally ranked time, 4 overall Super Bowls, 248—65 career record under Lamb Good list. I don't have a ton of context, since I only started paying attention the last few years. I'd consider BC High in there with St. Johns, not sure how they compare to some of the smaller programs. And recently Reading has had a nice run, but I doubt they could stay on the field with the Brockton/Everett. Actually, I live in Middlesex league territory (where Reading plays), and Everett apparently recently inquired about joining. They were turned down. No desire to tie up one of our playoff berths with them every year, LOL.

Missouri: KC Rockhurst Blue Springs Blue Springs South Hazelwood Central Webb City Ray Pec DeSmet Jefferson City Lees Summit West By the way...with all the talk of Jerry Kill lately. He's the one who kind of got the Webb City program going. Story I heard was he had a guy named Mark Smith playing for him. Mark missed some practices or weights or something (can't remember now). Coach Kill went to his house and told him "here's the deal. You can continue to do this and years from now, no one will know who you are. You will graduate, go to college, whatever, but no one will really remember you here at webb city. Or, you can start doing things right and every kid in town will know who you are. They will pretend they're you in the back yard. Everyone in town will ask what you're doing after high school. Everyone will remember you." Mark Smith went on to play for Arkansas and a few years with the cheifs. Webb has been rolling since. Great, hard working community, great coaches, and kids who live to play football. Sorry, hope this doesn't totally hijack the thread.

I'm in Virginia and here are some prorgrams who impressed me. If I missed somebody feel free to correct me. I'm only going to mention teams that I know well, which mean our classification. If I missed somebody, feel free to add on. I didn't mean it.
Hampton- Better do a great self-scout because if you have a weakness these guys will find it.
Woodside- They run the Wing T as well as anyone and their HC, Danny Dotson, is as good as anybody.
Lake Taylor_ a veer team with good players and good coaches. Playing these guys is no fun at all.

You need to add Thomas Jefferson High School, Pleasant Hills, PA to the list. Consistent winner over the past 15 years including multiple state championships at the AAA level and even more WPIAL championships and championship game appearances. Agree with this. Thomas Jefferson is one of the benchmark programs in Pennsylvania at the AAA level.

Meant the Hamilton Huskies as of late, but the Wolves are a dang good program especially when Hundley was playing QB for them. The Chandler Wolves are one of the top teams in the highest level of AZ HS football, should be interesting f they can beat he Huskies this this season.

I see no one has represented the Tar Heel State, so here we go. North Carolina has seen a lot of growth in high school football in the last 10 years, and is starting to make an impact on the national recruiting scene.
North Carolina (In no particular order)
Richmond Senior (Rockingham) - 4A: Over 400 wins in 38 years of football; 7 State Championships (latest in 2008), National Recoginition by USA Today in the late '80s and '90s (My Alma Mater)
Charlotte Independence - 4A: Dominant in the 2000s, Won 7 Consecutive State Championships from 2000-2006, Won 109 straight games before losing to an out-of-state team (Cincinnati Elder)
Matthews David W. Butler - 4A: Opened in 1997, Competes in the same conference as Independence, won 2009 and 2010 Class 4AA State Championships, won 54 games in past 4 years
Kannapolis A.L. Brown - 3A: Outstanding tradition, 10+ Wins every year, deep playoff runs every season, mascot is the "Wonders"
West Rowan - 3A: Won 3 consecutive 3A State Championships, has the nation's longest active winning streak (46 Games)
Asheville A.C. Reynolds - 4A: One of the best teams in Western North Carolina, 3 State Champions (latest in 2009), hard-hitting, tough kids year in year out
Boiling Springs Crest - 3A: Four State Championships since 1994 (latest in 2004, lost 3AA Championship in 2010), big, strong, and fast every year
Reidsville - 2A: 18 State Championships since 1930 (5 since 2002); high-scoring small classification team; Won 48 consecutive games from 2007-2009, 133-16 record in last 10 seasons
Albemarle - 1A: Won 4 State Championships in last 10 years (3 straight from '01-'03, last one in 2010), one of the best 1A programs in NC
Fayetteville Jack Britt - 4A: Fast-growing program in Fayetteville-Fort Bragg area, opened in 2000, has appeared in 3 State Championships since school opened, 41-4 record since 2008
Other top programs: New Bern, Greensboro Dudley, Shelby, Belmont South Point, Maiden, Durham Hillside, Wake Forest-Rolesville, Raleigh Millbrook, Fayetteville Seventy-First, Winston-Salem Mt. Tabor My list is comprised of teams that have had sustained amouts of success over the past 10 years, as well as long-standing tradition as the benchmark programs in the State.

They also beat the powerhouse Gloucester in the state championship game a couple of years back. I think they've lost only 5 games over the last several years. Marshfield, Acton-Boxborough and Walpole have been impressive through the years too.

I have to say.... you Pennsylvania guys disappoint me. How did no one catch another notable team missing.....Easton. The Red Rovers are the 2nd winningest program in state history, #9 in the US & play in one of the most historic rivalries in the nation on Thanksgiving Day versus Phillipburg (NJ) in the "Battle for the Hill" trophy on the "forks of the Delaware". These two have played 105 times on Thanksgiving, including the first HS football game televised by ESPN in 1988.
If not for this heated rivalry taking first priority, Easton may have been a player for some state titles. As it stands, they would much rather take pleasure in beating their rival from across the Delaware River over playoff glory...in recent memory, they have played 3 games in 8 days b/c they must play their rivalry game. The have subseqently lost in the playoffs & by having to play a game on Thanksgiving, then turing around and playing a State quarterfinal game on Saturday....gotta admire the love for tradition there.

Louisville Trinity is probably the second best program in the state, other than Ft. Thomas Highlands, and they aren't even on the list.

Oklahoma
1. Jenks- I am not a fan of their's, but they are a football machine. Can play with anyone in the country in most years.
2. Tulsa Union- I pull for them when they play Jenks, which is every year in the 6A championship.
3. Ada- Fallen on hard times in a class they shouldn't really be in, but they are in the top 5 nationwide in all-time wins and have 19 state championships.
4. Clinton- They line up in the I and run sweep and belly, straight 50 on defense, and just kick your a$$. Double digit state champs.
5. Booker T. Washington- several titles and NFL players from this Tulsa magnet school.
6. Carl Albert- the Jenks of 5A. They are TITANS.
7. Guthrie- Have become 5A perennial powers
8.Tuttle- Mid-level class (3A). They are ALWAYS in the mix. Play physical football.
9. Davis-They should be ranked higher. 2A team that has had about a 25 year run as one of the best programs in the state.
10. Kingfisher-Same as Davis, but not in the mix as long. 3A team who always has a chance.
I didn't include any private schools.
