No one gets off the ball like these guys. Does anyone have any sources about what they do?

I know in the past they have use the Speed City Tranch Warriors package. I have seen them pull tires. I am also sure they coach the bejezzus out of them. I am excited to watch them tonight on my FSN sports package...just to see the OL explode off the ball.

Can anyone post a video of this?? I would like to see what all the excitement is about. Is it the coaching or is it the talent being coached??

I believe that the majority of this is in the coaching. I have only senn them live one time, at the Ohio vs. USA challange and their line was very impressive. They weren't the biggest but they got of fthe ball better than any HS line I have ever seen and they are very effective at their job. I don't think they had a lineman over 250 but they mauled Cincinnati Elder. I wish they had played St Xavier though. Would have been interesting considering the size of St X's front line.

I have all the respect in the world for them and Ladouceur, but they didn't look very good in the state championships this weekend. Got off the ball fast and low as always, but it just seemd like there were a lot of unblocked defenders and DLS lineman missing and on the ground downfield.
They definitely have been getting the benefit of the doubt in the state and national rankings. Deservedly so, I suppose, based upon their past. They were exposed bigtime on Saturday night, though.

DLS lost to a two-loss team from SoCal, Canyon of Canyon Country that most people--myself included--didn't give much a of a shot. Lad commented at the half that it was the flattest he has ever seen one of his teams play. They just looked outhit and outhustled.
One of the things I have always admired about Lad is how honest he has been over the years in his assessment of his team and the situation. This was no different.

Don't judge DLS by this weekend's past game as their season or past seasons. This is the last of their "average teams" because in the next few years they have a lot of great players coming up. For what ever reason they took a dump in the state finals.
