Hey guys,
we are looking for a full contact team camp to go to in the Western US. We need it to be the week of June 13 because anything later conflicts with our Summer School.
Anyone know of any camps they would suggest?
I have been to the Nevada-Reno camp and LOVE it, but its like 350, and that might be a little steep for our kids

Gold Beach Football Camp is a great camp, they have 3 weeks of 16 teams. I think the pricing is under 200 a kid! Here is there link: www.gbftc.org/There is one late in July that we go to because it starts as our summer school is finishing up. It is called the Cascade Team Football Camp. Here is there Link: www.cascadeteamcamp.com/Both are good camps, both are very good for the price per athlete. With experience from going to both, the Cascade Camp is a little better, thats just my opinion. Cascade Camp the coaches are treated better and I mean TREATED! If you are trying to teach family and brotherhood on your team, Coach Hunsaker does a great job with his team and shares his ways, and his players demonstrate what discipline looks like on the field. Like I said both camps are great for the price and you will continue to go if you go once, because of the bond you create and the kids create with the other teams, our kids take extra shirts and hats and trade with other players from other teams, it is a great experience.

We were going to go to Gold Beach. Our HC had it planned out and he LOVES it there... but He didnt realize it doesnt start til we are in summer school, so I had to break the news to him when i checked out their schedule

We have gone to Fresno State the past few years and Pat Hill puts on a top-notch camp - some of the top programs from all over the state are always there. Plus it is hot as balls in Fresno, which really helps toughen our guys up. Cost for us last year was $260 per player. If you're coming from the bay like we do the drive is a couple hours less than it would be to Reno which could also save you some money in transportation. You can check out last year's online brochure at: www.gobulldogs.com/auto_pdf/p_hotos/s_chools/fres/sports/m-footbl/auto_pdf/FBTeamCamp2010

Coach, this maybe too far north for you, but Central Washington University (DII) puts on a great team camp. Their coaching staff is very knowledgable and professional. Their first session is June 13-16 and costs $285. We've gone the past three years and have been very impressed with the way they run it.
