Does anyone know why the Army players are wearing the 1st Cavalry Division patch on their jerseys? Have they worn it all year?

Did everybody have the same patch? I thought that each individual wore the patch of the unit that he was to be assigned to after graduation.

Might be because 1st CAV is, or least it used to be, based in Fort Hood , Texas. I could be wrong though.

Do they all have patches, or just SR's? Branch Night was November 10th, and this is when the Sr's learned their assignments.

I seem to remember Army games in which many different unit insignia were worn by the players. The only one I saw in the game today was the 1st Cav patch.
