Coaches, a few months ago there was a post with this play call sheet lanyard (whatever you call it, one of those things you can hang your play sheets from your belt) It had like 3 pockets you could put sheets in, if I remember right it was water proof sealed. Does anyone have the link ?

I use an old school custodian key ring with a "ticket holder" as my protective sheet. I scotch tape the opening & have never had a problem with water. I can't imagine needing 3 sheets. Front and back of 1 sheet is enough for me.

i use frnt and back of one sheet, and it is laminated.
Janitor style key ring so its always at my hip ready to be pulled.
Keep an extra on stand by cuz i have ripped the cord itself by pulling the cord too fast.

i could buy some top grade lamination system for $75. I laminate and use one of the card swipe things that attaches to your belt and retracts when you let it go.

fyi ... it's not 75 for one. the above is a "combo pack" of several.
however, printing on card stock & laminating seem to work just fine. punch a hole in it and move on.

Laminating machine on Ebay goes for about $50 and comes with 50 sheets of laminate.
I use the retractable ID Badge holders that have the Caribiner type clip. These are less than $1 each in bulk. I use a new one each week but they will last several weeks.

Here you go Coach. I started using these things this year. I bought a $30 9x12 laminator a few years ago, and this year my staff started to use these things. They are perfect. Fairly cheap, the cord length has plenty, and they are small enough to clip on your belt or pocket and forget about it. The snaps are adequate unless you are hard on your playsheet. If that is the case, a small piece of athletic tape finishes the job. www.staples.com/Avery-Name-Badge-Reel-Clips-Assorted-5-Pack/product_511099?cmArea=SC1:CG24:DP1520:CL140965

I used a retractable key ring and clear, paper-protector sleeves (the binder kind.). I was able to change practice scripts every day in no time, and the sleeves lasted the whole year.
Eventually I put one of those quick-release key ring attachments between the retractable ring and the papers, if I wanted to quickly remove the practice schedules to participate in a drill, or just get it out of the way.
Oh and the key rings are easily found at most Autozones, hardware stores, and they're cheap.

For all of you laminators: a trick I stole was to have a rubber band between the lanyard and the hole punch for a little extra "give" when you're tearing up and down the sideline trying to grab your sheet.
