Hey Guys, we need to do new jerseys for this year, both home and away. I'm trying to find a good company and looking for suggestions.
I really want something kinda new age and flashy. Our whole staff loves Missouri's UNIs that Nike makes but i know Nike is pretty pricey.
Please post the links to any good jersey companies you guys have used in the past or can recommend

My biggest suggestion in this is don't pick something that your staff likes. Let the kids pick something. We went through Pro Look sports for our last set, but they were more expensive than Nike. If price is a concern, there are some decent options here: www.thegraphicedge.com/catalog/garments.asp?i=95

We recently bought 70 jerseys from Powers Athletics. They're not a huge commercial name, but they're a major US manufacturer (Iowa) for the big brands like Nike. Very nice quality at a reasonable price. www.powersathletic.com/

Here is what we purchased this past fall. Kids really liked them. Everything is tackle twill and the price is not bad at all. They are made in the same factory as Russell but about 40% less because they don't have the R on them. www.velocityathletics.com/home

Can I get belt length jersey's through russel? Or do they have to be the longer jersey? We're looking for new jersey's this fall too and I don't like the longer jersey's. They never stay tucked in so we always look sloppy, plus they can be grabbed.

Can I get belt length jersey's through russel? Yes. Use your Google Search feature - they have Online catalog like all other manufacturers-dealers.

We were all lined up with Pro Look and they had major problems (jerseys were going to be 8 weeks late). Wound up going with Russell and received the jerseys in 2 weeks from when the order went in. Great looking jersey.

Just got done ordering new jerseys from my Russell rep. 30 minutes ago.
Quality Jersey - great price. He's throwing in a few polos for the staff too.
As far as the "length" issues goes: He said he has not filled a "belt length" order in years. Even down south. Our state is requiring the longer ones - tucked in.
He just showed me the new pants coming out (we ordered pants last fall) - they are all going to a silicone liner on the inside waist - helps keep the longer jerseys tucked in.

Just my two cents:
Russell has always made quality, comfortable cloth. But they were getting pretty pricey.
We bought Underarmour uniforms this year. We didn't pay the extra $10 per jersey for the stretch material. The kids didn't like the way the jerseys fit. Another local team DID pay the extra money for the stretch material, and I understand they were happy with them. However, our kids LOVED the game pants. They were worth every penny. I feel like the jerseys were just the logo.
We bought Pro Look jerseys two years ago, and the kids like them so much- look and wear- that we are buying them again this year. Their pants look like a quality product too, but we've just never purchased them.

superpower, Any price information you could provide would be outstanding? Per jersey, per pants, per set, quantity prices, etc. Thanks in advance Coach.

I second the request for the price info on russell. Also, has anyone ever tried rawlings jersey's? I saw on the link that was posted for graphic edge that the rawlings jersey's were pretty low price. Just wondering about the quality.

We purchased 4 years ago and got the stock game pant for $39/each. We got (IIRC) the Xtreme Compression jersey, and they were about $100/each.
As one of the other posters mentioned, Russell has a lining on the inside of the waistline of the pants that keeps the jerseys tucked in.

About 3 years ago we had some budget issues and we went with A4. They are lower price, and have just recently started some customization, but their stock unis are quite good and at a very reasonable price. They wear well, and for the price, the kids really liked them. We uses Russell now, but as stated above, they are getting pricey. I may go back to A4.
