i'm starting a club for kids who throughout the whole year hit everything in sight. not for everyone though only 2 or 3 kids that consistently laid people out on defense and offense. i'm going to put it on T-shirts. i was thinking "The Hitters Club" but i'm sure you guys have some better ideas.

We have t-shirts that say "hit squad" on the front and "you feel me" on the back.

I gave out apainted sledge hammer to the kid with the best hit of the week. It was a traveling trophy that stayed in his locker all week and the kid was "THE HAMMER" all week.

We borrow from LSU -- War Daddy

Bud Foster refers to his Boundary Corner as War Daddy because he must be physical. Urban Meyer uses "Hit City". If you make a big hit then you become a citizen of Hit City. Of course the hardest most physical guy is the Mayor.

I call my biggest kid "Freight" as it's short for "Freight Train".

We also use the sledge hammer and have the kid who earns it autograph it - by the end of the season it has 10 names, dates, and hits listed on the handle. The coaches select a season ending winner who gets to keep it.

we call it the hitter's club. plain and simple, but the kids go crazy over becoming a member

We have the "Crunch Club".
Each week the kid with the hit of the week gets a giant sized Nestle Crunch Bar.
In the past six games only two of the kids have won it, and they are the only members in the club. One kids has four, the other two.
At the end of the year somebody is the Crunch Bar King and gets a trophy, and a box of Crunch Bars.

I've seen a school add Lumber Company after their school name on a shirt to symbolize laying the wood. I'm not sure how many outside the team would get that, though.

we had "the wrecking crew"
got a hard hat and each week someone got the honor he got to sign it and keep it... at the end of the season, it was voted on who got to keep it for good.

We use a "hit stick" and we also painted up blocks with gold spray paint and gave out the "golden block" award.
