Any body has ideas on boot camp that put a good strain on the body.

When we do boot camp, it is not a physical thing, it's a mental thing. We do mat drills, dot drills, jump rope drills, command weight, etc. The drills aren't very diffiuclt physically, but we really wear the guys out if they make a mental mistake. You find out who you can count on when it is a tie ball game with 30 second left and you or your opponent has the ball on the 10. The physical thing comes with speed training, conditioning and weights from January to August. We typically conduct the boot camp between the playoffs and Chrismas Holidays.

we have "linemen school" in the offseason(we don't have a wrestling team at my school) so our big guys aren't going to play basketball or soccer so it's lineman camp with Coach for forty minutes after school(as allowed by the rules) no football specific stuff, but running, stairs, plyos, jump rope, sumo(really fun and great for leverage and balance) WE started it last year and it really helped.
