I know this is a week or two premature. Like many of you, I love watching the state championship games from around the country in late Nov/early Dec. I thought it might be helpful to start a list of your states championship games that will be televised. I know many will be on the Fox Sports regional networks. We could get a nice little viewing guide going here. I will post ours when things after the semi's this weekend.
List...
1. State/Region 2. Day and time televised (maybe replay dates and times also) 3. Teams playing and their level 4. Maybe the off/def schemes of the teams playing if you know those. 5. Network carrying the games, are they available nationally? 6. Particular power-houses to watch or premier players playing, anything to keep an eye on.

Unless you get the Pennsylvania Cable Network the PA games won't be on your cable, but I do believe they stream them on their web site. Tomorrow on fox sports Pittsburgh they have the district 7 (WPIAL) finals from Heinz field starting at 9:30 I believe.

Our finals are Saturday December 11. I understand that they're on TV but I have DirecTV and it's on cable. I think it may get streamed but I can't find it on the state association's site. If there are Virginia guys who can find anything on the mess that is vhsl.org please post a link.

If you love double-TE, Wishbone football, you are going to enjoy watching the 1A and 2A games. If you are a fan of old-school option football or the Wing-T, you will enjoy the 3A game. www.ihsa.tv/

Michigan games are pretty good so far, Farmington Hills Harrison (Shotgun Spread) vs Lowell (Double Tight Ace Option type) was a good one. Ishpeming (Double Tight Straight T) vs. Hudson was good as well from what I've seen.

You'll have to be in the state of Alabama to see ours on TV. There is live streaming though at this website. supersixal.com/auburn/tv-radio.phpThe 3A and 5A game both have teams that are on the Franklin System I believe. The 1A game should be entertaining because Sweetwater is a wing-t maching and Hubbard is a school created from two of the more storied programs in Alabama high school football. If you like the Wing-T then the 4A game will be a clinic. Both, Deshler and Thomasville have been running it since before I was born. Daphne is one of two teams to beat Hoover in the finals, but that was several years ago. Hoover has to be the overwhelming favorite.

I think RA Hubbard has a total of 16 state championships between the 2 schools. In 2A, Reeltown is a wishbone team, so that should be interesting as well.

OSAA- Oregon Football Televised Schedule..1A (smallest) thru 6A Largest I believe will be streamed ONLINE as well. www.osaa.org/media/broadcastschedule.asp2A game is Scio (Salem) vs Gold Beach (Southern Coast) ...Scio is Doublewing vs Gold Beach I think is I-formation. 3A game Santiam Christian vs Rainer - both power offenses..I think Rainer is DW..not positive though. 4A- Baker (eastern Oregon) vs Douglas - No idea on either team 5A - Marist vs Sherwood - this should be a great game..both have been powers in Oregon for awhile. 6A - They are only in the Semifinals now with Tualatin vs Jesuit ..probably coin toss game Aloha vs Lake Oswego ..coin toss..Traditionally Lake Oswego and Jesuit have been the power teams in the state. Tualatin is up there too.

AAA game will show a flex bone team with the top prospect in the nation at DE vs. a spread team with a QB who is a UNC bb commit.
AA game will be a smash mouth affair.
AAAA DII game will be an Air Raid team with a record setting QB and WR combo vs. flex bone team
AAAA DI game will feature 2 county rivals in which the school are about 10 miles apart and is a rematch of last years title game.
