Whatever happened to the the Montour Spartans? I used to watch that show on ESPN called Bound For Glory in 2005 when Dick Butkus coached the team with Ray Crockett. Then I know they left of course and the real coach took over. So what's the rest of the story since then?

They are ranked in the top 5 in most polls in the state of PA in AAA (second largest class) and are the number one seed in their 16 team district playoff. Finished the season 9-0 and won their first playoff game.

Also might want to add that they won their conference which is considered the toughest at the AAA level in district 7, where all 4 teams that made the playoffs won their first round games. Lou Cerro is the coach and he has done a great job turning the Montour program into a very well respected and successful program. It was unfortunate that he got saddled with the BS from that show his first year there. He was a very successful coach at Seton-LaSalle HS before going to Montour.
