You can't coach shoes, only the players wearing them. Oh, wait...I get it.
It's like my initial rxn when I read "4 wide coaches" in a subject line.

I have a pair of basic columbia winter boots, they are fantastic. Warm, waterproof, comfortable, and they're low-top (as boots go) so you're still reasonably mobile in them. A buddy borrowed them once when I was in university, he had to walk somewhere in a blizzard, and he came back wearing his own pair.

Adidas has winter boots. They were given to us when I was an athlete as part of our sponsoship deal. Seriously nothing was better warm in -25 celcius, durable, and most of all comfortable if you are in them for hours they are as light as running shoes. Search them on adidas they run about $200 I think

I wear a pair of ASOLO hiking boots I got in college--they're water proof and very warm. Perfect for November coaching.

Merrell, waterproof and warm with the gore-tex lining. So comfortable sometimes I just wear them to school.

I wear my father's last pair of Canadian army-issued combat boots. They work extremely well, and I am proud to wear them. My kids know the back story, so they think it is cool as well. :-)
