The local youth league wants to help out our high school program - buying something for us. We do need some new video equipment (not video editing...we have a Landro). Any advice on what to buy, considering ease of use, cost, etc. ?

Start with good cameras. Something like the Canon GL-2 for sideline. Then invest in a good endzone filming solution. SkyHawk is probably far and away the best equipment out there, but it is very expensive. There are other camera-on-a-telescoping pole solutions that are adequate. After you have good camera's and good video editting equipment, all you really need is something to print your DVD's . . .
