Game 4 Results
We won 28-0 to go to 4-0 for the season so far. We were up just 14-0 at the half, pretty good team that tackled real well. Ran out of time just before the half at the other teams 10 yard line- second time that has happened before the half in last 2 games. We need to better manage the clock. Went to running clock in 3rd quarter. Just 4-7 passing- This team blitzed a lot and it hurt them. Second week in a row where we have given up just 3 first downs and 1 play over 20 yards. Still lots to work on- We have yet to punt in a league game. Had just 2 5-yard penalties. No injuries

Coach Cisar: My parents think your offense is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I've adapted it to 8 man indoor game even incorporating a spinner series this year. We've scored every time on spinner 30 wedge this year (6 touchdowns).
We won our 3rd game this weekend scoring on every offensive possession and going to 3-0. We had 5 different kids score touchdowns. Score was (54-0) and I know we shouldn't have run up score that far but I was playing all backups I could. and just running power over and over.
I felt bad for other team perfect example of Daddy Ball, Coaches boy played quarterback/runningback and he ran / threw the ball every play except for 3 plays in the entire game. (I couldn't believe it) Even switch up put him at Tight End and they threw it to him. They were very unorganized, lots of penalties and self destruction on a couple of their late drives.

Great job! Congrats, keep 'em rollin.
We played our second game yesterday. It was rough, we got to the slaughter rule in the first qtr. Our longest offensive series was 2 plays, the first play was a dropped pass. The defense did not yeild a first down, I think they had one play for positive yards. Final 50-0.

We had a barn burner. After spending 2 weeks (off last week) really working the power play they came out and were aligned just funky enough to have an extra guy sitting in the hole so it took us a drive or two to get it going. Wedge was a beast tho. We scored in the 4th quarter to tie it at 20, then held them as they went for it on 4th down from their own 12, punched it in to take the lead with about 2 minutes left and got an interception to ice it. 3-0 so far.

We won our game 38-6. Scored 3 times in the first quarter. Every player on our team but two got to carry the ball and our defense ended up scoring 3 times. The six points we gave up were because our least mature player was playing 2 back we ran 22 wedge and the snap bounce off his shoulder pad and they returned it for a td. I think I was happier about almost everyone getting to carry the ball during the game then the actual win, it was very entertaining to watch.

We won 29-0 in our second week of the season to go to 2-0 on the year. Pretty brutal heat and humidity, without even a hint of a breeze, made the conditions tough to overcome, but the kids were able to play through it.
Went through a ton of Gatorage and water but fortunately, no heat related issues to deal with. Back to work this week trying to tighten things up, as we only have one more non-district game before getting into the real meat of our schedule the following week.
Good luck with your preparation this week guys!

Blue Devils 28, Redskins 0. We still haven't allowed a score, Redskins still haven't scored. We went to mercy rules in the 2nd Q.
Before the game I heard what would've been trash talk elsewhere, but in this case was just...well, you give it a label. One of our mentally challenged players (who, however, is a fairly good player) during our warmups said to one of the opposing players passing by, "You're going to lose today." The opposing player replied, cheerfully, "I know." I did warn our player not to say things like that any more, but...I can't describe the mixture of feelings I got from what I overheard, knowing that in their heads (which is the only place that counts) they're having a great time.
Coach Dave (who as I've mentioned is a teacher) characterized our player as "high functioning" because he pays att'n pretty well. That's as opposed to a player I mentioned who we haven't seen in a while (actually saw very little of at all) who impressed me as an athlete and someone who has the ability to learn quickly (based on a technique I taught him in a small group) when he paid att'n, but who couldn't remember things for 5 minutes and whose mind wandered a great deal. Dave informed me that the reason we haven't seen much of that player is that the person who brought him to us was a Big Sister who also paid his dues, but who unfortunately had other responsibilities while the boy's mother also needed help.
I think it's really great that kids like that can play a tough game like football at all, let alone well, and that there are people who help them out. Our team's captain also likes to help out; he held the down marker in the 1st half of the game before ours.

We won another one 19-6. Played pretty good. We need to focus and cut down on penalty's. Had one TD called back that was questionable on a block in the back call. We are 5-2.
