I just wanted to share something we do in practice every day. We call it "HAT" which stands for Hitting, Agility, (and) Tackling.
We break into groups and rotate through 3 stations each one dealing with blocking, tackling, and agility respectively. For example today we hit the 5-man sled, tackled the 1-man tackling sled, and did the pro shuttle. Also serves as a conditioning period as well. Another day we might go 1on1 in the chutes, angle tackle, and do 4-corner carioca.
I'm sure many of you do something similar but I thought our acronym was pretty cool. ;D

We used to do the same thing at the school I was before I came here. But we called it H.A.T.S period and did the same thing but also incorperated a shed the block station every day.

We start every practice (immediately after flex) with 3 agility stations, 3 minutes per station. Conditioning and football related quickness skills.
