I'm starting a Youth Camp next week - 3rd-8th - split up in groups,3&4, 5&6 & JH. It is a 3-day, 2 hrs each session working with the PeeWee & JH players.
Any suggestions on what to include.
Basics that I will cover - Tackling Progression - Blocking Progression - Basic Position Indy Drills
Any other suggestions?

We had our first elementary/JH camp last week -- very successful. Along with some of the things you mentioned, we brought in a staff member who was a college kicker and he went over the basics with the kids. At the end of the camp we had a punt, pass, kick competition.
always ended the camp with dummy relay races - they seemed to love it. Told them they will get into the first game free if they wear their camp t-shirts. (won't hurt us monetarily as most will be accompanied by one or more family members who might not otherwise come to a game).

Agility stations Tackling stations Special teams stations As many stations as you can think of. It is the best way to run a camp teaching fundamentals.

You can also have the kids break into 5 or 6-man teams and play games; young kids love this.

Especially for the little kids. I just did a JFL camp last week. 4 days. Planned on 2 hours of work a night. Ended up being about 1 1/2 with about 20 mins of games. Lots of water breaks as it was hot. In retrospect I think I'd limit it to 3 days as well and lest time planned.

I agree,we are only doing 3 days, and I'm going to throw some games into there as well to break it up. Any suggestions on the games? I've got a few good conditioning ones. Lots of cold beer for everyone who helps coach the camp.

I'm moving this to the Youth section because you'll get better feedback there.
