What do you guys do with your team when you come on the field before a game and at halftime. Some teams I know do a specific routine. Just curious.

Middle School routine. We usually play at 4:30 so we have a pretty tight pre-game schedule, but here goes:
- Immediately after school (3:18) to about 3:35: Players get in the locker room and get completely dressed except shoulder pads and helmets. Once dressed, players head to field and line up in first offense. - 3:35-3:55: We will go over our play card offensively and then defensively we'll show formations & plays, reacting correctly. - 3:55-4:05: Return to locker room to finish getting fully-dressed. - 4:05-4:20: On-field stretches, warm-ups, and full-speed play run-through (if we feel we need more reps) - 4:20-4:28: Back in the locker room for final relaxation and instructions. - 4:28-4:30: Head back to field and begin the game.
Halftime: It's only 10 minutes so we have managers handing out water as they walk through the door. Immediately go over things to look for in the second half and any adjustments to be made (done with whole group). We're usually able to get the talk done in about 5 minutes and let them relax for a couple of minutes. Then head back to the field with 1 minute on the clock.

No biggie for us. Our motto is "let the other team win the warm-ups." We just gather in one corner, break it down, then job out around the field to the 40 and then fill in every 5 yards. I think we go 6 across.

Did anyone see how Coughlin had the Giants come out (a few years back)? It was a practiced thing where they looked like they had military training. 2 lines came onto the field together from the endzone, then split to each side, up the sidlines, back into the 50, and then they filled back down in 4 lines, with the stretch leaders the last guys so they would be at the front... or something like that. Everyone had a specific spot. It was on a MNF game... I think and the announcer thought it was great (Madden?). It did look cool but was maybe not the best way to spend your practice time etc....

Similar to the Coughlin idea, but keep your captains in the endzone and have them run through the stretch lines when they are set.
