we are looking at different ways to do in season conditioning rather than just line up and run 40's
we've thought about pursuit drill working two minute offense at a conditioning type pace
what are some things that ya'll do?

We do pursuit and 2 minute O as well as running plays on the 7 man sled.

Break up your sprints in 10's, 20's and 30's as well as your 40's. Try to mimic games in which you might be on for 5 seconds and off for 20-30. Having sprints much longer than those wouldn't be feasible especially for lineman...how often do they ran a 60 let's say? Maybe a long run/pass play might be it and most often they are chasing.

We do pursuit drills and kick-off/punt coverage. The only time the kids run sidelines or 40's is when someone is being punished.

Prowlers and tire flips If you don't have or can't get prowlers, get your guys doing tire drags. This is mostly for your big boys though (linemen, fbs) Although it will help anyone.

Yes, we use the whole team. We make the WR's play as TE's.
