www.fisherathletic.com/3rdHand.htmlI know there could be many jokes about the thread title--try to refrain Anyway, does anyone use these? I know I can make a homemade substitute, but was wondering if anyone had experience with these making them better than page protectors/laminating.

seems like a waste of money. Laminate the gameplan and hole punch one of the corners.

I actually just laminate the play sheet, hole punch it and use one of those retractable things that people put company IDs on or car keys. I just clip it to my belt and it works great.

I just use these: and print the ready sheet on this: Makes the ready sheet solid and waterproof so I can spend the first quarter b1tching and moaning about not being able to find anything useful on it before chucking it behind the water coolers at halftime...

$23.95 for a sheet of plastic, a clip, and a lanyard? What would this guy think?

I really like the belt clip Idea, if i had a piece of paper hanging around my neck I would just stay mad that it was hanging there in my way, I can't wear my keys around my neck in practice and usually take the whistle off.

If I saw a coach with a playsheet hanging from his neck like something Ludacris would wear, I would think that is a coach that takes himself too serious. I just fold it in half and stick it in the back of my shorts.

Save your money you could buy like 5000 feet of string for like 0.28 and do the same thing.

I don't think so. You would have to find smaller sheet sizes.

I used that stuff for a while to make the wristbands and it was no problem you just had to cut them out, If I remember correctly. I eventually bought a home laminator it was around twenty bucks and came with a ton of sheets. I have been very happy with it.

I don't think so. You would have to find smaller sheet sizes. We print ours on card stock all the time and it works great in the wrist bands. Print six on a sheet and then laminate them, then put them into the wrist coach, they work awesome.

I use a variation of the page pouch thing I found, about $5. There are 10 of the page protectors sealed together and 3-hole punched. I use that for practice all week and in the game. Lets me get all my play calls, if-then info, fronts, situations, roster, scouting information, pretty much anything I want in there. Folds up nice for the back pocket. I usually print double-side print on card stock so there is a nice heft to it. Probably not what the single-sheet guys would like, but again, I use that all week to make sure I get everything in, keep notes, etc.
I also use these for putting all the conditioning drills, passing drills, play diagrams, scout offense for the week, etc. into a nice little package.

Neat idea, not very cost effective. Our coach lamenates our stuff and I use a retractable belt clip mentioned above. No way am I paying what they want for what cost 3 bucks at office max.
