Fellas -
I am going to be coaching 2 teams this fall. One team will be a 5th/6th grade team. We are going to practice 2x a week with a game on Thursday. I'm planning an hour and a half practice for these guys (6:00 - 7:30). I will probably only have 13-15 kids total on this team.
Other team I'm coaching is a 6th/7th grade team (about 45 minutes away). That team will probably have 15-20 kids. Games will be Tuesday nights. We will practice Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (3:30 - 5:00) with a voluntary film session on Wednesday morning.
Neither team will have any special teams. Offense will be double wing and defense will be 4-3 C-II.
How would you guys construct a practice sked given these conditions? Biggest thing I am concerned about is the inability to go 11 on 11.
Thanks!

With so little practice time, and so much to cover, you must ensure that you have a simple but effective offfense and defense (...hello Mr Obvious, huh?).
You don't have time for more than 4 or 5 runs, and 3 or 4 passes...at first anyway. You should be able to add a play or two here and there, but by and large, you need to keep it simple to focus on execution.
Practice 1:
6:00 - 6:05 specialty (long snapper, kicker, punter, C-QB exchange...rest of team reinforce at slow pace) 6:05 - 6:10 stretching 6:10 - 6:20 offensive individual drills 6:20 - 6:25 punt team 6:25 - 6:30 water break 6:30 - 6:40 defensive inividual drills 6:40 - 6:50 inside drill 6:50 - 6:55 punt return team 6:55 - 7:00 water break 7:00 - 7:20 offense 7:20 - 7:25 extra point 7:25 - 7:40 defense
Practice 2:
6:00 - 6:05 specialty (long snapper, kicker, punter, C-QB exchange...rest of team reinforce at slow pace) 6:05 - 6:10 stretching 6:10 - 6:20 offensive individual drills 6:20 - 6:25 kickoff team 6:25 - 6:30 water break 6:30 - 6:40 defensive inividual drills 6:40 - 6:50 outside drill 6:50 - 6:55 kickoff return team 6:55 - 7:00 water break 7:00 - 7:20 offense 7:20 - 7:25 extra point 7:25 - 7:40 defense
