I am coaching a 6-man team here in Florida and we have our first ever spring jamboree game tomorrow evening. My question is... what to tell the kids our expectations are or if I should even have any expectations. We've been in spring practice for about 5 weeks and we are still very raw (only two out the 14 kids I have ever played football before.) That in mind, I have quite a few athletes.
My gut reaction is to just tell them that we need to be able to move the ball (after all, it's 6 man and should be high scoring) and just show that we can tackle well.
Any advice?

It's a Christian league run out of Clearwater and no, not sanctioned by the FHSAA. fcapps.com
