I work a regular full-time job as an HR Manager at a big company.
When August rolls around, I take vacation for double sessions. During the regular season, I go to a part-time schedule where I go in early and leave early enough for practice. Our company is really good about this kind of thing, especially for something they see as "giving back to the community" like coaching!
I am a blessed, lucky guy to have had this work out across 2 employers!

Our D-Coordinator is an insurance agent. He doesn't get to practice until 4-4:30 every day.

I recently left my teaching position, have a non-teaching job (medical office) and still will be coaching at the high school.
