Alright, I'm just looking for some advice and to vent a little.
In February at a clinic, I talked with a position coach at a fairly prominent 1-AA school. He had some cut-ups but ran out of one that I wanted so he told me to pay him there and then e-mail him and he would send the DVD to me. So I e-mailed him and got nothing back for 7 weeks. Then I e-mailed him again about a week ago and today I finally got the DVD. However, I watched it and it cut out in the middle. I don't know how much is left but I am fairly certain that where the film ended was not where the tape was supposed to end (it ended probably 20 minutes in). So my question is... do I try to get in touch again and explain the problem and try to get a good copy, or just let it be?

You paid him??? Hell, I would email his HEADER... tell him the situation.

I am sorry but why? You need advice, why? You don't know the answer! What do you think you should do? My a$$ would have been on the phone or email no questions asked.

Turns out it was a false alarm. I tried the DVD on a different player and it worked fine.

Now that is annoying. I have had the same thing happen to me a couple of times. Some DVD players don't work too well.

I HATE DVDs!!!
In a lot of ways, us coaches took a step back when going from the bulletproof VHS tape to DVDs. We were constantly worrying - will it freeze, get jumpy, just stop playing, etc. The only time our team deals with DVD disks now is with opponent trades. We load it into the computer and never see the disk again.
Can't wait until there's some kind of standard way to easily trade online -- then we'll never have to touch a DVD disk again!

its also 800 a year.Something free should be out there.I also dont like something that entirely web based...this becomes a nightmare when your laptop cant get onto the wifi etc.Gamedayfilmz.net was free,my only problem was it was technically very time consuming to get your video hosted and then link it to the software.
