Not sure how everyone does it This is how Mike Leach deals with it:
Beware, turn the sound very low, pretty harsh language

Well, I had 4 different coaching staff's in college, and to be honest, he seems pretty mellow in comparison to me. The fact is that college football is a completely different world than HS or youth football, it is a business with lots of money involved. That might shock people if they haven't been around the college game but the fact is that's the reality of it.
Sure, there are more "politically correct" ways that he could express himself. Honestly, he didn't seem real worked up, wasn't yelling, etc, he just relied on a limited and repetitive use of vocabulary, which, for a lawyer, seemed odd.....lol
I had a few coaches in college that would have taken the camera and thrown it through the wall to get warmed up, and then given a tirade that would have made a sailor blush.
I'm not endorsing his choice of vocabulary, merely pointing out that it is tame in comparison to other coaches at the college level.

I would agree, I experienced worse when I played college ball. I don't agree with this but like you said it happens...I wasn't offended or anything like that but I know some players were when our coach said some choice words.
I'm surprised they allowed a camera in there....a student tried to bring a camera into our locker room once and the whole team almost killed the student.

The "God Squad" stuff bothered me a bit, but I have seen worse as a player in college. Played at a Baptist school so no God bashing allowed there. If I was a player of his, I would have lost a lot of respect for him when he started in there.

Being around College Football in the past I've seen a he!! of a lot worse. He might have gone a little overboard with the F-Bombs, but it's no worse than thanksgiving at my dad's house.

I did not see anything wrong with what he was saying......
Did he need to drop the f bomb so many times? No.
However, he was not talking to a group of lawyers or 3rd graders. He was talking to a team that was under performing and that was his way of getting their attention. Just because some one cusses does not mean they have a limited use of vocabulary, maybe he is catering to the limited vocabulary of some of the players.
If you listen to it all the way through, they won the game he is talking about. What he is upset about is the fact that his team did not follow the goals set out by the team. He did not single one person out and he talked more than once about the coaches being at fault as much as the players. I heard a lot of "we" in there, which I take to mean everyone on the team, coaches included.
Which is worse, a guy that rants and raves but does not cuss or a guy that remains calm and cusses to get his point across?

Honestly, some of the most linguistically gifted and possessors of extensive vocabularies that I ever ran across were Army drill sergeants. But, when- not if- you pi$$ed one of them off, you already knew from which selection in their libraries their next words were for you. /shrug....Those 'kids' he's addressing are 18 and older. They can learn to cope with it.

College Football is big business. take to many loses and you are fired.
High School is getting that way in some of the big States. Florida, Texas and Ca. Wins brings in $$$ and boost the school.
Leach is a great Coach and Texas Tech is going to suffer some huge $$$ money loss from boosters over his firing.
I know when people put this video up they thought coaches would be shocked. but this isnt some little SW youth team he is talking to in the middle of the country. This is big time College Football.

Wow. I really didn't think he swore so much.
But then I am from East London. I get very animated on ocassion. But most of my teamtalks are quiet low but strong voiced affairs. If things go wrong I am louder than he.
