I like the Colts I think Manning will pick the Saints D apart.

I think one of the keys to winning the Superbowl is to have a plan B. Look back to the Bears afew years ago. Run the ball, don't make mistakes, get special teams play. All going fine in first quarter then running game stalls and rex Grossman starts throwing picks. No plan B.
Colts and Saints both have a sound plan A - le ttheir star QBs run the show. But both defences have shown they can get to the QB. What if the star goes down either legit or by "love taps"?
Saints CAN run the ball, Colts not so much. I would trust Mark Brunell to run Saint's offense - how would you feel about your Superbowl comes down to curtis Painter?
So, my prediction. If both teams run plan A - slight edge to Colts but well within the spread. If the Colts have to go to plan B - no chance, Saints win.

You want a bold prediction? Here's one- I predict that the Super Bowl will be won by The Green Bay Packers. Forget logic and stats be damned. Who cares that they're not actually playing in the game? I'm taking the Packers and that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm with phantom. Frankly, I don't see what all the fuss is about. How can it be The Super Bowl for The Lombardi Trophy if Packers (or at least Favre) aren't playing?

Colts 34, Saints 17.
The Saints D will slow them down early and make it interesting in the 2nd Quarter, but Manning figures them out and Indy goes up by two scores in the third and it feels like they're up by a hundred. By the start of the 4th it's clear that Brees is trying to force things and turns the ball over.
New Orleans is happy to be there, Manning won't be happy till he's considered the undisputed best ever.

Saints 38 Colts 34. Manning goes 24-37 for 256 yards 3 TD and a INT. Addai fumbles inside the 20 with the saints trailing by 3 with 2:15 left. Brees goes right down the field and throws a 18 yard TD pass to Lance Moore with 36 seconds left. Brees 27-33 for 324 yards 4TD INT. Colston MVP with 9 grabs for 154 yards. Freeney plays but is ineffective. Now for the analytical point, I will start out by saying the Colts CANNOT get down by more than 2 scores. They have a problem starting slow out of the gate and if they start out cold, they wont have the firepower to beat the Saints

TDmaker....WTF man? What do you have against the great and resilient people of New Orleans? How about you come to grips with what I like to call "objectivity" and quit offending people? It's one thing to give a prediction, it's another thing to completely debase an entire city. It's not even close to funny to talk about "looting and burning" in a city that was DEVASTATED by the catastrophic hurricane in recorded history.
I'm going to recommend you be banned from Huey. Your attitude and behavior is classless and has no place on this board, in my opinion.

------------------------------ Manning is gonna tear the Saints apart. where does "who dat?" really come from anyhow? SHORT FOR . . . " Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?" I think it's sort of a cajun SE Louisiana accent for Who's That? As in "Who's that who says they're going to beat the Saints?" It's become their (fans) battle cry. It's all theirs Nothing to do with cajun...more the uneducated speech patterns of the population of New orleans. As far as Touchdownmaker's replies...I have no problem with them, especially when speaking about a population that was shooting at the Emergency responders trying to help them during the storm

Gee, so much for a Colts blow out.
Excusing a vindictive schadenfreude of New Orleans / Katrina suffering is just as ridiculous

Excusing a vindictive schadenfreude of New Orleans / Katrina suffering is just as ridiculous I was there...no excusing...just saying that his portrayal of segments of the population is plausible. Not likely...but plausible. Sorry if that is not PC enough. Back to football.

For those of us not trying to prove to others they are the smartest guy in the room : Little-used English words synonymous with schadenfreude have been derived from the Greek word ἐðé÷áéñåêáêßá.[2][3] Nathan Bailey's 18th-century Universal Etymological English Dictionary, for example, contains an entry for epicharikaky that gives its etymology as a compound of epi (upon), chaira (joy/charity/heart), and kakon (evil).[4][5] A popular modern collection of rare words, however, gives its spelling as "epicaricacy."[6] A more common English expression with a similar meaning is 'Roman holiday', a metaphor taken from the poem "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage" by George Gordon, Lord Byron, where a gladiator in Ancient Rome expects to be "butcher'd to make a Roman holiday" while the audience would take pleasure from watching his suffering. The term suggests debauchery and disorder in addition to sadistic enjoyment.[7] Another phrase with a meaning similar to Schadenfreude is "morose delectation" ("delectatio morosa" in Latin), meaning "the habit of dwelling with enjoyment on evil thoughts".[8] The medieval church taught morose delectation as a sin.[9][10] French writer Pierre Klossowski maintained that the appeal of sadism is morose delectation.[11][12] Fun game to watch, I didnt care who won. I dont have a hat or numbered jersey of anyone on either team . Ive Never worn a jersey other than the one I wore when I played But I did have a #20 Johnny Rodgers jersey I outgrew when I was 12. Loved the onside kick. Hopefully they dont burn the town down.

I know exactly who is going to win the game and by how many points!............ I will tell you what I picked when the game is over ;D On a serious note: I am 100% sure that the Colts will win if they score more points than the Saints, and they will lose if the Saints score more than them! I know, it just seems like the right pick! Anyone else agree? I WAS RIGHT! 100% RIGHT! ;D

Once again, ignorant generalizations and stereotyping. I'm sure you don't know a {censored} thing about the people of New Orleans. The majority of the city is well-educated and articulate. Just because a slogan isn't proper grammar doesn't mean everyone here talks that way. Addressing the "shooting at emergency responders", I was one, as were multiple family members...all of those stories were false. I'm sick of you a$$holes making these types of comments. You really make yourself sound really stupid and very ignorant.
