Our booster club is going to buy us new uniforms for next year and I wanted to see if any of you guys have Under Armour uniforms. We have russell uniforms now. I would really appreciate any positive or negative feedback on UA uniforms.
Thanks

We just got a new HC who came in and bought UA uniforms. They look great and the kids love them. The pants were great, however, we had alot of problems with the jerseys ripping and tearing. (More so than a normal jersey) However, UA has agreed to replace the entire set of jersey's that we had problems with.

We just got a call from a guy at UA. Says they are going to give us $25000 worth of cloth. Anyone else ever heard of this? Scam?

Coach Knight, If that guy calls again and is legit, send him my way as well....I am at a small school and could use some new uniforms as well
Thanks
To answer your question though, I have never heard of anything like that but if it is legit, good for you and your program

The free coaching stuff is based on how many units you buy. We do not have UA but they were not very good as far as lasting. I understand they did replace everything in our area. We just bought new uniforms and they have a new stock jersey for around $50 but we went with rawlings instead. The new jersey is not their mesh jersey and they said it was their strongest jersey.

Does anyone know who the rep for Under Armour in Canada would be? I have been all over the USA web site and found nothing but sponsorship stuff to fill out. We have a Nike rep here that we deal with that has been just horrible and we want to move away from them.
Any ideas?

every experience we have had with UA gear has been horrible. Any kid we have had who used their cleats had them blow out before the end of the season other stuff has not held up well either. On a side note an NFL guy I coached in HS and who does a camp in the summer in the area is one of the big names UA has and he kind of hinted he wouldn't be re-signing with them since their product was very poor.

We have them. I bought them last season. The Texas Tech style in our colors. The pants alone are worth it. The jersey is fine we did not go with the tackle twirl numbers because of the price but we went with the regular press on. We had some numbers fade because of use but UA agreed to replace them. Too bad for us it was only the numbers on the back of the jersey LOL! I agree with a previous post, the cleats are no good but they gave us gear etc and have been very accommodating. There are specials on prices if you order them by a certain date, it saved us a ton on 70 units.

Who have you guys been ordering from or dealing with? Anyone have a name and contact info? We are looking for something like this. Our Nike Team Bank just ended (thankfully) and we are looking for something else.

I'll echo that under armor cleats are terrible. We had kids who blew them out by week 4.
Just watching a game on TV, Lowell (MI) had under armor stuff but it was all ripped to pieces. I understand that jerseys tear, but their whole team was having issues and that isn't a poor school.
I've also had issues with UA clothes (though, not as bad....of course, they aren't worn as heavily).
Durability seems to be an issue.

We just went away from UA jerseys, our JV can barely wear them they are so bad with just three years of wearing them. We just ordered nike and our kids say they fit better and are a little cheaper. Our rep gave us a 40% discount on Nike jerseys. PM me and I'll give you his info.

I bought a set of Rawlings this past season. They fit a little large, but otherwise were fine. Only issue we had was that the side insert which was Green Bay gold, did not match the GB gold numbers, neck trim or cuff trim at all. Not terribly noticeable from the field, but very much so up close.
