Just saw Keenum give the thumb rub against the pointer finger with a closed hand.. and I saw Andy Reid do it several times the other night vs the 49ers.. anyone know what this means? Is it coincidence.. or is it some tie in from West Coast to the Air Raid?
Is it a call for their "money" play?
just curious if anyone is in the know..

That's interesting because I saw Wade Phillips do the same thing a couple of weeks ago when signaling in plays to the defense. I have no idea what it means though. Sorry.

We used to use that for our quarters coverage.

Wrong!
That's not the money sign...
That's the universal sign for the "smallest violin" which of course means...
Cry me a river!

We used to use that for our quarters coverage. That is also how we call our quarters coverage.
