For those who are watching this game, what doyou think about Wyoming's Kickoff return unit? They get the ball and the other returners gather in a huddle. The initial returner joins them and then they break and go in separate ways. Opinions on this? Gimicky I know but interesting. Anyone do something similiar?

I did not see it but it sounds like the Starburst or Club of Death return!
We installed that a few years ago for a team that was just ten times faster then us and we needed an edge to get a good return or field position!

No it was the Globe of Death. The back 6 came together to the guy who had the ball and then all took off like they had it. Starburst is one guy comes up and then others criss cross behind him taking for faking a handoff.
We ran Globe of Death once this year but did not get much off it. Gimmicky yes. Like to run the stuff more to make sure the next teams waste timing practicing against it....

By the way this game was freaking awesome. The qb from Wyoming is a little player who is fearless. Look for big things to come from this Christenson led squad in the near future. Wow!!!! What a way to kick off the Bowl season.

Yeah I have to agree that this game was a great way to kick off the Bowl Season! Wyoming was something like 2 Td underdogs and they held their own the entire game. Good for them!

Two things I didn't like about the game was the predictability of the Wyoming offense and FSU's play calling in the 4th quarter and overtime.
What I liked about the game, however, is the resilience of the Wyoming coaching staff, which seemed to be well taken by the players. I also enjoyed watching FSU run the football and the young QB for WYO step up and get it done with his feet. He really made it look easy.
