Anyone else use these?
In Illinois, they were mandated for use in the postseason, so many teams used them in the regular season, as well.
I was not impressed. The balls did not hold up at all...all ten that we purchased (4 composites and 6 leather) more or less completely fell apart by the end of the year and are pretty much unusable at this point. One of the balls doesn't even hold air anymore...must have gotten a hole in the bladder somehow?
Our QBs actually liked the feel of the Baden composite footballs but they don't seem to be very durable, especially given the inclement weather we had for much of the season.
Anyway...just wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience with these footballs.

We used them this year. They had terrible durability just like you said.

Well I'm going to two part this.
First the composite balls that we bought when they held up did a fantastic job of being "durable" by this I mean that when they didn't pop their game usability was darn good. That said we bought twenty balls last year at the start of the year and five popped or would never hold air to begin with.
Our AD complained to Baden but we were not given replacements..
On the bright side I wore one of the popped and cut open balls on my head for Halloween...

I used them at two schools. Our kids loved them when they were brand new. The Lexum composite was what we used. Sticky and heck. Aren't they pretty cheap? Like $25/ball? That was one reason we liked them too.
Now in MN you have to use a Wilson ball in the postseason so we switched a couple years ago to the GST and TDS balls.

We used the Baden Perfection...about $45 each. I have NEVER seen a Wilson football completely fail the way the Badens did this year.

I'll agree the footballs were bad in comparison to the Wilsons. But...if you think the footballs are bad, go try and dribble one of the basketballs more than 5 times while standing still...its even worse. Thanks IHSA!

They are grabge, One season balls then they turn into kicking balls or defensive practice balls.
