how many of you keep a day to day journal of the football season. I have found if I write down my insights after practice I keep a running tab about how the season is going. I also can look back on what I was doing last year as well.

That's a great idea. I have kept my play cards and practice plans - and it was only yesterday that I glanced at week three's practice plans and game night play card - and realized what a different team we are today then we were nine weeks ago. Jack Rarick Holt Football www.coachsvideoassistant.com

I did it this year for the first time. I think it was extremely valuable, and it will become more valuable when I can look back at it at the start of next season.

I kept a log of issues/concerns that I dealt with this year. I will use it to prepare me for any of the same situations for the future.

I only keep practice plans and like coach said it is interesting to see how the team develops.

I try to keep things from this season to help next year. I also like to keep notes on things we are doing good and bad as a staff. I do this to help me down the road when I maybe become a head coach. I'm basically writing my own program manual for later.
