We have had our share of injuries this year... som significant son not so much.... our big one is the number of concussions we are experiencing.... not just on tackles or being tackled... some just hit their head... does anyone use shock absorbing mouthpieces?.. and which do you prefer

Actually, I recommend that if players can afford it, go to a dentist and get a custom fit one. I had an improper one when I was playing and got 6 concussions before getting a new one that fit properly.

Of the 6 players on our team that have a custom fit one, none of them have had a concusssion yet this season...not sure if it is just blind luck, but those guys really like them.

the mouthpieces will help. the Revolution helmets were also designed to help prevent concussions but not sure how much more effective they are than any other

something we have done to reduce concussions is order oversized jaw/ear pads. seems to be making a difference for us.
