What stretches do you do for pre game? Are there any I should focus on? We do normal leg stretches and neck stretches. After that we do what we call "power flexes" like walking lunges, shuffle punch, things like that. I was just curious to see what everyone does for "normal" stretching.

Our Kids jog from one corner of our endzone to the 40 and then back around and a coach counts off by 8's. We will have 8 lines of 7 or 8 on the Goalline. We do walking lunges, hi knees, chicken wings, hi knee crossover, quick feet carioca, toe touches, get offs. As we do get offs we tell the kids 5 yard spacing, and then odd lines over to even for necks and then back to their lines for jumping jacks and a chant and then into D indy.

Coach, I know this is a great lead-in for a joke, but what are chicken wings?

We get to the field and go straight to Offensive Individual. We stopped doing a 'pre-game' stretch this year. Just seemed a waste of time because our O-Indy drills are just as good, if not better than the dynamic stuff we did last year.
Skill guys run Pat and Go while the OL does Fit Progression and Drive.
Havent had any pulled muscles yet (Knock on wood)
And the kids love it. Thats 5-10 minutes knocked out.
