Who do you want to speak on youth topics at the 2010 Glazier Clinics? we try to get Cisar in as many places as we can, anyone else you'd like to hear? what topics? As always, ALL of our 2010 clinics will again be free for youth coaches. Good luck this season!

I really liked Coach JT (John Torres) in Costa Mesa last year. I got some good ideas/info from him and he kept it on topic as far as youth is concerned, he had tons of really great team building activities. I've been to clinics in the past where the speaker was not a youth coach, they were HS or JC coach and some of the stuff they advised was ill-suited for the fresh youth coach.
If you could get Dave Cisar out this way I'd definitely go see him.

eickst - you're in Southern California? I wish I knew that - I would have liked to have met you - I was at the Costa Mesa clinic last year, too. I went to all HS level sessions, so I didn't get to see John Torres, but I heard he was very good.

Reid Roe is Darin Slack's Youth Camp Coordinator. He may want to do some C4 or R4 stuff for youth coaches.

I second jhanawa. Any chance he'd come to northern CA?

Doug, Bigshel,
I'm honored to be mentioned for something like that, it would be fun. Your certainly welcome to come visit our youth & HS programs anytime to talk football, clinic or not.

what about topics? just fundamentals and drills and stuff or more specific schemes. What's popular on the west coast at the youth level?

I for one would love someone who actually teaches system PROGRESSION. It's great to get a scheme or whatever but most of these schemes that people hawk online aren't teaching the coaches HOW to install an offense. Obviously we have some contributors on this board who sell materials that are well suited but there are more coaches out there who dont buy than do.
