Has anyone ever made the large hoops for drills? I was thinking about getting flexible pipe such as sprinkler pipe and connecting each end to make them. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks

buy two standard pieces of pvc pipe, 1/2 inch...buy two connectors, put them together...just as you were thinking.

The diameter should be 7 feet. So just figure the circumference.

I do have 2 pvc hoops- 1 is getting bent bad and they're kind of cumbersum to move inside/out, etc.. I'm thinking about getting 2- 50' white or yellow colored garden hoses, filling them with sand and connecting the ends together for 2 hoops for my DL. Just in case kids step on them. Thoughts?

We use electrical wire at Oaks Christian. It works perfect and not so bulky

What about a garden hose? Just screw the two ends together.

I have used black sprinkler hose and white PVC piping. PVC piping is way better as it is easier to get it into the circular shape you need.

I like the garden hose idea. It is real simple to put together and take apart to put away. I even think some of the kids will be able to figure it out. What size hose would be ideal for 1 hoop?

I think this should do it!!
Pi x diameter (7 feet) = circumference
22 feet of hose, pvc, rope, etc... should work!!

I use electrical pvc conduit. Each piece has a built in male end and a female end. They come apart easily to store.

TDmaker do I understand that each hoop is 30' long and then connected into a circle? and you use 4 of these circles at your practice? Thanks OJW

I like the tractor tire idea, but it may be difficult to store. I am going to snoop around for some of the electrical conduit or flexible pvc.
