Watching Texas's offense is underrated too. Great game

Tech does such a great job with pass pro. Would love to speak to them about protection schemes. They must see it all.

ndoc, its really simple...... they just give ground and take who comes to them. They dont have an assigned person. its not bob or gap.
I know, I know it sounds crazy!

Lol - their's is as simple as it gets and it helps that they have no "TEs" 60s & 90s..... Make a front call to coordinate mike designation with the back, and either BOB or box it. This is why Texas was shifting to a double eagle look to 1) get interior pressure by occupying both guard and center, and also 2) attempt to muddy the reads for the back with inside/outside pressures And that probably is what stumps people about TT, is their bare-bones simplicity.....nothing fancy, they just execute (routes, catches, drops). There really is no secret to what they do.

That last catch by Crabtree still wows me every time I watch it. Fantastic ball skills, great adjustment and catch, tremendous strength and balance to stay in bounds, and GIGANTIC BRASS PELOTAS to fight the DBs off and try for the score.
So excited he fell to the Niners.
