Coaches...
We have our pep rally coming up in a few weeks and I need to pick a song to come out to. Last year we came out to AC/DC Thunderstruck, probably the best football song ever made. Unfortunately we had a bad year so I'm looking to make some changes and that starts with a new song.
Any suggestions?

The game is a possibility so far. Hard to beat Thunderstruck though. Any others?

What about "For Those About to Rock...We Salute You"? It's not as up-tempo, but it has an awesome intro and a 21 gun salute. The same goes for "Hell's Bells". Anything by AC/DC could work.

Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi.
Pick something the crowd will like and get into as well. Seems like most kids know the song and will "rock out" in the stands as well.

Old school "We Will Rock You" is good too.

My 3 year old runs around the house singing "let the bawdies hit da floor"
must be pretty catchy.
then again, my 6 year old loves "I like big butts"...not sure where he heard that one?

>>My 3 year old runs around the house singing let the bawdies hit da floor<<
I was gonna mention that one. great song that gets me pumped. if you can find a version with the pledge of allegiance before the song starts...whoa...I'm not the most patriotic person in the world, but that gets me AMPED up.

I guess I should have been more clear. This is a youth football league, so the lyrics have to be somewhat tame. ;D

I was gonna say some Jacko as a tribute but since I see it's a youth league that's probably not going to send the best message

Enter Sandman by Metallica has the best intro of any song ever IMO.

If you can pick any song, I'd say;
"One man army" - tom morrello "Planet Boom" - Tommy Lee "Name of the Game" - Crystal Method "Stompbox" or "Horndog" - overseer "Pushin' Weight" - ice cube "Rap Superstar" - Cypress Hill
With the exception of the last two, there are no lyrics (so nothing to worry about) and if you can get the instrumentals to the last two, even better
