Last night, my wife and I were watching TV. I had my laptop and was perusing some of the threads on this site.
A little later, after going to bed, I was tossing and turning in the sheets. I told my wife that she had just helped my clear my head and my thoughts were too strong for sleep.
To that she said "why don't you go get on you computer and go to that website, 'Huey, Louie, and Dewey' or whatever you call it".

My fiancee said that if she ever meets coach huey, she may punch him in the face. She is thinking of starting her own website for wives of coaches on coachhuey.

After we returned from showing cqmiller and his wife the sights around South Florida, my college age daughter asked where we had been. My wife repiled "We took some people out for drinks that your dad met in his football "Chat Room."

My wife is happy. She sits and watches her soaps and I type quietly away instead of telling her to turn the channel

I read this post to my wife and she laughed and then admitted that it sounds like a conversation between us. She can't really call you guys my imaginary friends because she is a member of just as many forums as I am, they just aren't football boards.

Then I told my wife and he laughed even harder.

This site is the other woman as far as my girl friend is concerned. I tell her this site is her friend because it keeps me off of Myspace and all the other adult dating sites.LOL

This is good. I tell my wife, that football, and anything related to football is my mistress. She will walk into my office, and see this site, and swears that I never get any work done. At times, shes right on!

My wife has a number of them. But, when she first learned that I spent a lot of time here when I'm on the computer, she didn't like it. She felt I spent too much time here. I tried to explain to her the breadth & width of football knowledge and the number and variety of coaches that frequent this site. She didn't get it at first. She looked at me and was dead serious when she asked, "Well, if they want to come help out during Saturday's game, I got stuff for them to do." Hmm...now that I think about it, she had a point. I need about 25 of you on the sidelines with me. Another 50 of you in the stands to yell out how much I suck and point out to everyone else how you'd run things- you know, so we can keep that authentic average fans in the stands atmosphere. Oh, yeah. If I could get another 25 of you to scout games, that'd be great, too. 9>10 yr old youth teams. Small league. Shouldn't be anything ya'll haven't seen before. Oh,yeah. If you decide to volunteer, be careful. My wife is Team Mom, runs a tight ship and takes no s**t from coaches- especially me.

No disrespect to the founder of this GREAT board, but my wife and kids now refer to me as Coach Huey. (The old lady made me type this)
