We are 100% Schutt DNA. The kids love them and we have only had one concussion problem in 2 years.

We just ordered 20 DNA's. We have been using Revos and too many break at the stress point near the jaw. They replace them quickly, but that doesn't help much in the middle of a game. The kids love the DNA's. This year we will add the 20 DNA's and then get another 20 next year. The kids love them.

What if your key player had a history of concussions. What helmet would you trust over any other in terms of preventing a another concussion? We currently buy DNA helmets. Just watched the video on the new Xineth, they looked really comfortable, but I wonder if there's any research that tests which are the safest.

Has anybody used the, extremely expensive, schutt ion 4D yet? I've seen some NFL players use it last season.

^^^ Yes, We have used some Schutt Ion 4D. Fantastic helmet. cheaper than the Xenith too. I love the Enenergy Wedge Faceguard.
My Team is 100% Schutt...I can't stand the low quality of Riddell

We have moved completely away from Riddell in the past three years. We have purchased a mix of DNA, and Air Advantage and will add some XPs in this year.
Xenith put 4 helmets in our program last year and they were a hit. Knowing they are expensive the company offers a "One Player, One Helmet" program that allows players/families to purchase the helmet and pay for it over a period of time. We have a couple guys going that direction this season.
