I just got my awards letter for Newberry College for next year, and I have over $30,000 in awards, which means my tuition and books will be covered, and I will still have money left over. My hard work has paid off! I have busted my ass for the last two years just to pay my tuition and now I don't have to worry about it anymore. I knew that keeping my grades high would pay off in the long run. It means I can focus on the important things this summer without having to work two jobs all summer long. I almost cried when I saw that I was getting that much.

As George Perles always said, "Work hard and good things will happen."

Nice job and follows my philosophy that anything worth having is worth working for. Congrats.

Congrats!
Here is a word to the wise:
You are probably still going to be eligible for a TON of subsidized stafford loans.
That means that the government pays back the interest while you are in school.
I would take the maximum loan every year, and stick it in a CD at a local bank.
Then, when you graduate, payback all of the loans with the principal, and take the interest you earned.
I also had a full ride and failed to realize this until my senior year.

Thanks for telling me now dubber. That really is great advice and I wish I would have known or thought about it; then again, I was so young and dumb that I would have prpbably spent all of it on beer.
Congratulations, now you can focus on what is important. Nice work Dog.

Don't borrow any money unless you really need it.

Good Job. Newberry is expensive.
I just signed my letter for my Graduate assistantship and was glad that no money was dropped on tuition or stipend...the fam kinda needs that.
