How elaborate are your spirit packs?

We don't sell our kids anything. We give them their T-shirts and shorts for pregame (Thursday) and woe to anybody who shows up without it.

I agree phantom! Issue a set to everyone, with number on tag so the older guys don't pilfer the younger guys.

Supply and Demand...what about coaches out there that don't have amazing booster support, a low student SES, and must scrape together packs by any means possible? What good companies are out there that are economical, but still turn out a quality product?

We have made ours pay in the past...we also raise the price a little for the kids because we understand that many of ours will not be able to pay, so those that are paying are helping out a teammate and they do not even know...
This is also, how we get that dad that wants to help the program to help...can you donate some money for Johnnies practice pack...in the past it has worked BUT gotta be careful the parents you ask....

We do a "Cloth" Sale. The kids earn theirs. I write their # on the tag and all you get is one.

We make our kids do fundraising for their spirit packs. Because they work for it, we also allow the older kids to help choose what we put on the t-shirt.

At my previous school the kids paid $50 and got 2 shirts, one short, and socks. At my new school ($$$) we give them one dri-fit, one t-shirt, and a pair of shorts.

The kids earn their spirit packs through fundraising (selling discount cards). They include a t-shirt, shorts, and a winter hat in a nice gym sack (whatever they call them) with our team logo printed on them. At the beginning of the year we give them a t-shirt and once it starts getting colder out, our boosters pay for nice windbreakers as well.

I did a spirit pack this year for the first time since I have been at the school (14 years). 2 shorts, 2 shirts, practice jersey with name and number on the back, and 2 ASO ankle braces. $120. We are in a more affluent area and even with the economic times we got 98% of the kids to pay the full amount. We should get our gear next week just before we start spring practice so the gear can be used all spring, summer and fall.
