Tried to search for this but ended up getting every thread anyone ever quoted someone else in.
Anyway, I understand how to quote a coach, but how do you split up his response to address multiple points by interjecting your own text?

Use the quote "button" in the little toolbar above your response box. The one with the arrow. Copy the stuff you want to be quoted and paste it between the brackets..........at least that is how I do it......which means there is probably an easier/smarter way

I open up the thread in another tab (or window), then hit "quote" (as bulldogoption noted). I just move the copied stuff over from the newly opened tab to the original thread.
I hope that makes sense. I can do it better than I can explain it, just like middle school math...

It drives me crazy when someone quotes the whole post. It poses a lot of redunancy on the search feature.

That, and it's a lot more loading and scrolling on my phone. It would be easier to address a specific point if coaches just used the quote button then deleted the excess writing they aren't going to specifically address.
