As the start of the season approaches I was wanting to know what drills you use for position tryouts. I will use some of the usual drills but wanted to see what you guys recommend. The tryouts will be for youth football between the ages of 12-14. I will basically separate them by patch and non-patch players. Patch just means they are over the limit to carry the ball in our league.
Also does anyone have a specific form I could look at as a reference. Any help is appreciated.

A pro agility drill will show quickness paint 3 lines 5 yards apart have the player start in the center and on go sprint to one edge line, turn 180 degrees and sprint through to the other end, turn 180 and sprint back through the middle. This drill is should show quickness and the ability to change directions. Another is a cat and mouse in a large square 15 yards by 15 yards, have the players start on opposite sides and have one with a ball try to get across (good juke moves help) shortpunters-singlewing.1freecart.com/
